Driven by the clients’ desire for a secure home that embraces their garden and established gardenia trees, Sunny Spine House expands and contracts around two courtyards. The primary living and sleeping spaces are separate while being visually connected, and all enjoy a leafy outlook. The sun shining into the central circulation spine creates a wonderful play of light and shade throughout the day.
